What if my life got easier?
What if my life got easier?
Do you feel like your life is hard – harder than it should be?
What if you could allow your life to get easier?
What would that look like? And feel like?
I invite you to take a few slow, deep breaths.
Just relax into it. Wherever you are. Right now – just breathe.
Then close your eyes and imagine this day just a little bit easier.
Relax.
Keep breathing slowly and deeply.
Sit for a few moments with the feelings of ease. Feelings of flow.
Here are some questions to reflect on while you’re relaxing and feeling your way into a state of ease and flow:
- What am I willing to let go of … just for this day?
- What am I willing to give myself today as a gift of joy?
- What am I willing to ask for so that I feel supported today?
Any one of those questions can have powerful, positive results in your day.
You CAN have a life that is easier. You really can.
Each time you notice yourself thinking that life is hard, stop and breathe.
Then relax into a momentary feeling of ease.
Ask yourself any or all of the questions above.
And then have the courage and commitment to act on the answers you get.
You’ll be living a life that is easier than you ever imagined.
And you’ll be doing it one day at a time. With ease and flow. With joy and support.
I’m looking forward to hearing what answers you get when you ask these questions. And please share the results you get when you take action on those answers.
Here’s to YOUR easier life!
Feeling Overwhelmed?

Do you feel overwhelmed?
Does it sound like this:
There is always too much to do and not enough time.
There are people who need me to do things … now. Not later.
There are things I want to do … after I get my ‘to-do’ list done. But when will that be?
Sound familiar? Does it make you feel tired and overwhelmed?
Do you feel like a hamster on a wheel going as fast as you can – and getting nowhere?
I know I do. At times.
And then.
And then, I stop.
I get very still. I stop focusing so hard on everything I have to do.
Just for a minute.
That’s all it takes. Less than a minute.
Breathe. Breathe in and out slowly and deeply. Relax into it. Give your body that wonderful, slow, deep breath of momentary relaxation. Ahhhhh.
Now set an intention for the next part of your day.
Just this single day.
Just the very next part of this single day.
If it’s morning, set an intention for how this next part of the morning will go. Focus in on right now and what’s immediately next.
Set a positive intention for how this very next part of your day will go. How do you want to feel as you move through this part of your day? Savor those positive feelings and let them settle into your body.
It calms the overwhelm. It allows you to stay present. It reminds you that you can choose your thoughts and feelings and allow the better-feeling ones to circulate in your mind and body.
I invite you to try it.
Stop. Breathe. Set a positive intention.
Allow positive feelings and thoughts to settle in. Then focus on the very next section of your day. Only that section.
Bring in your focus to what’s immediately next and how you want to feel as you move through that part of your day.
And see if the overwhelm doesn’t dissipate.
I dare you.
